Energy Difference measured between Structural Variants of Protein associated to Parkinson’s Disease- could Finally find its Cure
On June 16, 2011 structural clues regarding the protein associated with Parkinson’s disease were revealed by researchers at Keck School of Medicine of University of Southern California (USC). These clues could eventually lead to discovering a cure for this degenerative neurological disorder at last. Parkinson’s disease a slow-progressing degenerative disease with no cure or cause discovered so far. It is the second most common disease next to Alzheimer’s. 4 million people worldwide have been reported to be suffering from this disorder.
